Every day, you talk about making a change in your life. A new career, getting fit, trying something new: a desire to switch things up for yourself. But instead of pulling the trigger, you somehow come to the conclusion that it’s too late for you to do so. It’s one the most classic excuses you use. Why is that? Is it because the change you want is too hard? Or is it that you are in fact scared to make the initial move? And so you just say “You know what, it’s too late for that” and you continue to stay complacent. But it’s never too late.
Making a positive change in your life is as simple as brushing your teeth. You just do it. Any change whether it be big or small can be done, regardless of where you are in your life. Having the will and desire to make it happen is crucial. But you’re probably reading this and saying to yourself “It’s easier said than done.” That’s true. It is easier said than done. But ask yourself, “Will this change make my life better?” If the answer is yes, then why are you putting it off? Take the leap. You can always turn your life around. It’s never too late.
Please don’t mistake my intent here. I’m not accusing you of being lazy or bashing you for not doing what you want or anything like that. Instead, I want you really reflect internally. Really take a look at where you are in your life. Are the some changes you have been putting off? Are there goals that you want to reach? If so, I want you to write them down and create a path of what it would take make those changes and goals happen. Then follow through with them. No matter how long it may take, you will see it through. Promise yourself that because you owe it to yourself after putting them off for so long. Remember, it’s never too late to change.
