That guy in the middle just graduated the police academy on December 21st in 2018.
It was a 7 and a half month journey that all came together on that day. It started with the setting of a goal. Every day it continued knowing that once that goal was reached, there would be a sense of pride and success that is rarely matched.
There are different strategies used in business to develop goals that can also be beneficial in every day life. One is making SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound. Another is making a FAST goal: Frequently discussed, Ambitious, Specific, and Transparent (Google goal setting and an article done as an MIT series will explain all of this to you). Or, you could just set a goal and go for it.
The point I'm trying to make is that goals set you up for your future success. Literally your first step to achieving something is want to achieve it. I hope that you have set a goal for 2019, or that you are in the process of setting one. Make yourself competitive, give yourself some drive, and go make it happen!
